To ensure the continued and effective role that volunteers play, capacity development of volunteers will be necessary as a result of the new Strategic Priorities since changed direction with a greater focus on 5As, demands more varied skills and expertise from volunteers at every level. Induction of new volunteers will also be a pre-requisite of new Strategic Plan.
Strategic Direction: FPAP will work towards developing the skills of volunteers to advocate for increased commitment and resources for SRHR.
Goal: To increase public, political and financial support for sexual & reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in Pakistan.
Objectives:
Activities to Achieve Objective 1: To augment the knowledge of volunteers and staff regarding the strategic directions and priorities of the organization.

Design and conduct an orientation and capacity development programme for the volunteers;

Disseminate FPAP’s strategic directions and priorities at all levels;

Diversify and broaden the volunteer-base in accordance with new Strategic needs including women and
young people.
