Problem Analysis:

  • Lack of partnership/coordination among different organizations, which work on the field of reproductive health.

  • Good experiences on educational programs and also in training the trainers .
  • Making appropriate relationship with people of the society .
  • The association dose not have governmental organizations’ limitations.
  • Having relationship with people who are involved in governmental organizations .
  • The association is well known among governmental and non-governmental organizations .
  • Working as a member of IPPF has made FPA as a professional organization working on SRHR according to international standards.
  • Considering the youth and also deprived groups in policy making, planning, implementing and also monitoring the projects.
  • Being focused just on the SRHR issues.
  • FPA is among the initiator organizations in some issues of SRHR.
  • Volunteer body of the association assists the FPA to be able to operate in different parts of the country.
  • The association cares on the international announcements and making use of them.
  • Having innovation in different fields such as educational methods, planning and implementing the projects .

Goal: All people, particularly the poor, marginalized, the socially-excluded and underserved are able to exercise their rights, to make free and informed choices about their sexual & reproductive health, and have access to SRH information, sexuality education and high quality services including family planning.

Strategic Direction: By strengthening partnerships between FPA and other organizations to reduce social and cultural barriers that impede access of men and women to essential SRHR services.

Objective:To reduce socio-economic, cultural, political and legal barriers to accessing SRHR information, education and services.

Activities:

  • To hold at least 1 qualitative surveys to find out the different barriers in the society
  • Strengthening and establishing at least 5 new partnerships with NGOs civil society group, private sector, media and other stake holders
  • Negotiating and lobbying with at least 20 policy makers and parliamentarians to reduce barriers.
