Dr. Jameel Zamir, Programme Officer

Jameel brings to the organisation his expertise on sexual and reproductive health programming for and with women, men and young people in South Asia countries. He has worked extensively for over a decade years in addressing the SRHR of poor, marginalized and underserved populations in the urban slums and rural areas of India. He is supporting Member Associations in operationalising the strategic area “ACCESS” with focus on contraceptive choices, quality of care, sexual rights, men & masculinities, sexual & gender-based violence and SRHR in humanitarian situations. He holds masters’ degrees in demography, management and statistics together with doctoral degree on quality of care in the family planning programme in India.
