Center of Excellence on Organisational Development

The CoE is envisaged as a nursery of best practices on organisational strengthening, capacity building and leadership and governance. It is conceived as a place to design, enable, execute, review best proactices which can be disseminated and replicated by other MAs across the region. This would enable integration and alignment of programme objectives and internal management systems for optimum reach. it is based on the conviction that  our work matters and it makes a difference to people's lives.

The key objectives are to coordinate an active and involved organisational functioning through learning; ensure participatory decision-making with regard to organisational decision; andhave transparent roles, performance appraisal and feedback mechanism in place including policy on redressal of grievances. Management audits conducted to provide basline information are exploring areas like-Have we as volunteers and staff responded effectively to the dynamics of change? In a world where management is almost like a 'mantra' is our organisation rating high, low, or just average? How are we perceived by the outside world?

The CoE on organisaional change is being set up in Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Inputs for development of new organograms, modern infrastructural facilities and top of the line information technology are being provided as the Federation sees new beginnings.
